The VP Hockey team will
be comprised of 10 - 14 players (8 - 12 skaters
and 2 goalies). The present intention is to run
3 lines (4 skaters each line) at each game. |

Playing
time is not guaranteed and will not be equal!
Varsity competition lends itself to an emphasis
on winning, although the program will not sacrifice
the principles of good sportsmanship to win or pursue
victory at the expense of the welfare of the team
members. Nonetheless, the majority of the playing
time will be allocated to those players who demonstrate
superior ability, along with outstanding work ethic,
good sportsmanship, and a positive attitude. |

There are no preset starters - every
player has an equal opportunity to start. Final
determination of the starters will be made by the
coach, in his sole and absolute discretion. The
starting lines can and likely will change throughout
the season depending upon player performance, motivation,
and attitude. |
